DELTΔ (Echolyse series)
Site-specific Installation

EN
DELTΔ, the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet, has been represented since antiquity by an upward-pointing triangle. Originating from the corresponding letter in the Phoenician alphabet, it derives from a hieroglyph depicting a doorway.
Based on the technique of anamorphosis, DELTΔ comes into conflict with the exhibition space by projecting the simulation of a virtual environment. The work unfolds in multiple forms and projections, always positioned in the corners of the room.
It generates visual tension between the anamorphic form and the light which, reflecting irregularly onto the adjacent walls, disrupts the perception of the architecture and alters its reading.
The viewer is invited to move through the space to reach the precise anamorphic vantage point, where a moving tunnel emerges from the gravity point of the projected form.
Conceived as a loop unfolding in both space and time, DELTΔ is accompanied by a sound design by Thomas Vaquié, based on the Shepard tone, simulating an infinite ascent.
